With this heartfelt philosophy, James Thomson and Melanie Alberca founded Soft Landing Services Málaga to assist foreigners who have chosen the Costa del Sol as their new home — as well as residents who find the language barrier and Spanish bureaucracy (often frustrating!) a daily challenge.

But from now on, you can breathe easy — you’ve landed in the right place.

Both James and Melanie have called Málaga home for over 35 years. Melanie, who is half Danish and half Spanish, holds a university degree and brings over two decades of experience in real estate services. James, a native English speaker with a background in Marketing and Sales, has a deep understanding of Spanish bureaucracy — whether you’re buying, selling, renting, or in need of key holding services.
